There's quite a bit of news in store for the Bendy franchise this Halloween season, including some official updates on both the Bendy Movie and the upcoming game, The Cage. The Bendy and the Ink Machine movie has found its director, with an announcement coming this Halloween - and Bendy: The Cage has a tentative 2025 release date.
Back in July, Bendy series creator TheMeatly said that "big things" were in store for the Bendy movie. He later confirmed in August that the Bendy Movie was definitely moving forward with a new director, whom TheMeatly referred to as a "famous and brilliant" individual.
In regard to The Cage, developers say that they have since returned to the upcoming title with "fresh eyes and new excitement," and that fans can hopefully look forward to a release next year.
"Earlier this year, we determined that [Bendy: The Cage] was not shaping up in the way we wanted it to," the update on the official Bendy X/Twitter account reads. "Overall the concept was solid, but we just weren't reaching the feeling we were hoping to achieve with the game... we decided to step back for a few months to work on other Bendy projects. This turned out to be a great idea that refueled our creativity for this game."

As for the Bendy Movie, there's no confirmed tentative release date quite yet. However, fans can possibly look forward to more updates following the planned announcement of the film's director later this month.
