Bendy: Lone Wolf Gets New Trailer, Announced for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, iOS, and Android

Bendy: Lone Wolf has been announced for a 2025 release, and it's coming to PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.

Bendy: Lone Wolf is a rebranding of Boris and the Dark Survival, and will replace that title. Bendy: Lone Wolf veers a little from the franchise's typical focus on first-person horror, instead taking a top-down, roguelike approach to the game's universe. 

Here's developers' full description of the title, from the game's Steam page:

"Bendy: Lone Wolf will test your ability to survive against ever increasing odds. Monsters and obstacles emerge from every direction as you journey into the rubberhose halls of the world's most evil animation studio. Every day is a challenge.

Become Boris as he ventures deep into the endlessly generated corridors of Joey Drew Studios and beyond in search of supplies, weapons, and the dark truths that await him. The secrets of the machine are hiding around every corner.

The cartoon creeps of the Dark Puddles are unleashed to stop Boris in his horrific quest. Battle them back with well-timed attacks and the clever use of dangerous traps. Smash them back into the shadows before they drag Boris away.

The Ink Demon stalks Boris at every turn. Nowhere is safe from his reach. Run and hide in this pulse-pounding game of cat and mouse. Stay out of sight when your hear the beating of his ink heart."

Bendy: Lone Wolf is an exciting new upcoming addition to the Bendy franchise, but it's far from the only thing in store for Bendy and friends. The Bendy and the Ink Machine movie is coming next year, with series creator TheMeatly announcing the director back in October. TheMeatly has also confirmed that he's working on another main-line Bendy title, known now as Bendy 3, as well as Bendy: The Cage.

Just recently, TheMeatly confirmed that Bendy will return with "more horror" - though there will still be offerings for kids. Fans can look forward to playing Bendy: Lone Wolf sometime next year.
