Fans have been waiting for the Unreal Engine 5 remake of Ark: Survival Evolved for a while now, and they'll finally get to see the game's first trailer this week. A trailer for Ark: Survival Ascended is coming on Wednesday, 25 October, at the Xbox Partner Preview.
The trailer is the first that Studio Wildcard has done in full 4K resolution, marking a major step for the studio. "As a cinematics guy to another - I'll give you this, it's the first trailer we've done in 4K," said Studio Wildcard's Cinematics Director, Curacores, on X.
This means that fans will be able to see the changes from the original Ark game in high detail.
Ark: Survival Ascended is set to release sometime quite soon, with no specific release date. Though many players were expecting a 31 October release date, it's looking less and less like that will be the case, though we'll probably see a release date announced at the Xbox Partner Preview event with the trailer.
This could mean that fans won't need to wait too much longer for Ark: Survival Ascended, the modern remake of Ark: Survival Evolved, to hit shelves.
First and new looks at other games will also be highlighted in the Preview, including looks at games from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Remedy Entertainment. Fans will also get to see new content for Alan Wake 2.
