ARK Love Ascended: How To Get Box of Chocolates and Dino Candy

Ark Survival Ascended has been hosting an epic Valentine's event, offering players different in-game items such as boxes of chocolates and candy for their in-game efforts.  However, it is possible for players to speed up the process of earning these in-game items, thus increasing the likelihood of earning valuable loot through the Love Ascended Event.

How To Farm Dino Candy and Box of Chocolates In ARK Love Ascended

Method 1

Players should consider breeding Dodo's as each breeding Dodo has a twenty-five percent chance of dropping "Primitive Love Evolved Dino Candy" or Box of Chocolates - just what we want! Naturally, you've only got a 1 in 4 chance of these rewards dropping, so you'll need plenty of tames to increase your chances of farming these resources.

Method 2

The second way for players to acquire Love Evolved Dino Candy or Box of Chocolates is through fishing. You'll first need to kill a "Love Bug," and place a "Love Bug Heart" onto a Love Fishing Pole. Now attempt to catch 'Coelacanth' fish from the surrounding water areas.

The Coel should have little pink hearts above their heads in the water, and will reward players with Dino Candy or Box of Chocolates when you reel them in. It's also worth noting that if you increase your fishing streak (up to 5) you will increase the multiplier and improve the loot quality. Essentially you'll earn a lot more Dino Candy or Box of Chocolates with bigger streaks. Just make sure try and fish away from areas where Love Bugs spawn, otherwise they will fly around and shoot their venom at you; and if you stand up you'll likely break your streak.
