After recently announcing AEW Fight Forever Season 2, the latest DLC to join the pack has been revealed and it's actually not roster additions. While more wrestlers have been released many times since launch and are expected to be again, the AEW Fight Forever Beat the Elite DLC instead adds a new tournament mode. Perhaps most interestingly, the press release seems to confirm that these content releases are the new normal.
More AEW Fight Forever Season 2 Content Arrives
Just a few short weeks after releasing the AEW Fight Forever Dynamite feat. The Acclaimed DLC that put Max Caster and Anthony Bowens on the roster, another has dropped setting the tone for new content moving forward. When AEW Fight Forever Season 2 was announced, it dispelled fears that the game's dwindling player base could see the company admit defeat and move on to a different title down the line.
However, they're staying committed to further content drops and improvements on AEW Fight Forever. Per their press release, Beat The Elite is "just the beginning of [the] new Fight Forever content pipeline." The Season 2 pass will include the earlier drop, this new Beat The Elite DLC, and a future DLC titled "The STORM is Coming" which many have speculated will include Toni Storm.
Players who have Season Pass 2 can dive into Beat The Elite now and attempt to run the gauntlet and defeat 10 randomly selected wrestlers in a row, with the final boss always being a member of The Elite, and the final win will reward players with in-game cosmetics based on difficulty. For those that only want to add Beat The Elite to their game, this DLC is available individually for $6.99 on all platforms.
