The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has only been out for a couple of weeks, but it's already had two major patches. This latest patch is targeting duplication glitches that people are using in the title to ruin the in-game economy and acquire more resources than they're supposed to have.
The full patch notes are as follows:
- Fixed an issue where the sound would play at an extremely high volume in certain conditions
- Fixed an issue in the main quest 'Camera work in the Depths' where players could not progress beyond a certain point. Downloading the update will allow players to proceed past that point.
- Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.
According to severalplayers over on Reddit, they've noticed that previously available duplication glitches are now unavailable in the game, rendering them impossible to perform.
The title is still selling incredibly strong, partially due to the sheer critical acclaim that the game is receiving. As it turns out, the game was finished for a full year before release, with the year-long delay being due to a desire to polish the game as much as possible, and make sure that the physics engine worked properly.
