Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Jiosin Shrine Location & Solution

Shrines in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are mini-dungeons brimming with environmental puzzles. Clearing it will reward you with a Light of Blessing, an item you need to increase your health.

Like the Nachoyah Shrine, Jiosin Shrine is one of the Shrines you can stumble upon quite early in the game when exploring the Hyrule Fields. If you're struggling to clear it or just need to know where it is, you're in the right place.

How to Find the Jiosin Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You can find the Jiosin Shrine in the Hyrule Field region of the map. It's south of the Hyrule Field Chasm, which you can use to go underground and explore the depths. The map coordinates of Jiosin Shrine are -0239, -0374, 0026.

All Jiosin Shrine Puzzle Solutions in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Jiosin Shrine is about rotating shapes. To solve every puzzle, all you need to do is pick up and rotate the given object with the Ultrahand ability and pass it through the gap in the wall. 

Upon entering, you will notice an X-shaped cut on the wall on the left. Enter the room and pick up the large object nearby and start rotating it using the Ultrahand ability until the object and the X-shaped cut has the same symmetry.

Once you align it correctly, you should be able to pass it through that space and bring it to the main room.  Notice that you can't separate the different parts of the object and align them to match the space in the wall. You can only rotate it horizontally and vertically. It might look intimidating, but it's very easy to match their symmetry. 

Once you have brought it to the main room, use your Ultrahand ability again to set up the object in a way that lets you hop on to it and cross over to the other side. Do so, and make your way to the next room. 

Another shape rotation puzzle awaits here, this time in the shape of two adjacent squares, with one slightly above the other. Naturally, the object is in the opposite room. Align it correctly to bring it to the main room. 

There's also a chest on top of a surface on the right. Bring the object here, and use the Ascend ability to reach the chest. Unlock it to get a Hasty Elixir potion. 

Now, on the left, there's another space on the wall, beyond which is the exit of the Shrine. Again, align the object using the Ultrahand ability in such a way that both the empty space and the object have the same symmetry. Pass it through the wall, and place it on the far end of the room. Use the Ascend ability again to reach the top and complete the Jiosin Shrine.
