Warzone 2 Season 4: All DMZ Updates

Warzone 2's Season 4 update is dropping on June 14, and major changes and features are arriving promptly. Whether it be the new DMZ faction, access to the new Warzone Vondel map, or DMZ menu renovation, Activision are dropping some serious updates and the players are ready to load up and tap heads. 

The new Vondel map is featured as Warzone 2's most recent map, dropping with the Season 4 update on June 14. Players will experience a new battle area, having comrades and enemies fight tooth and nail to be the newly crowned Vondel victor. 

Warzone 2 DMZ New Faction: Phalanx 

The Phalanx is the new DMZ faction set to kickstart on June 14, following the release of Season 4 of Warzone 2. Currently, there's little to learn about the Phalanx faction, with the DMZ blog sharing only snippets of information. However, we know that Black Mous and Phalanx will execute missions together, bonding and possibly sharing new interests. We know that Black Mous typically operate in stealth, specializing in espionage to complete their interests, therefore perhaps Phalanx operates within the same standards?

Warzone 2 DMZ Season 4 Progress Reset

Faction mission progress and DMZ inventory will reset following the Season 4 update on June 14. The "reset" essentially means DMZ players will have all of their Season 2 and Season 3 progress wiped. This means all players will start from the bottom again, only keeping blueprints, calling cards, and skins, earned in the previous seasons.

Warzone 2 DMZ Menu renovation & Forward Operating Base

The DMZ menu is facing major changes following June 14, as the Call of Duty developers confirmed a "revamp" to improve menu navigation. Following the new menu update, players will now have access to the new "Forward Operating Base" (FOB) feature. The FOB acts as an area for players to track their progress on objectives that will lead to DMZ upgrades. 

The new DMZ menu includes these new areas:

• Learning objectives 
• Forward operating base
• Notes
• Location objectives 

The FOB will also contain the new wallet feature, which enables players to exfil and store cash outside of the DMZ world. Meaning, players will be able to keep the cash they survive with and possibly use it for other infiltrations.

Warzone 2 DMZ Vondel Exlusion Zone Access

Vondel will now act as DMZ's new exclusion zone, giving players new collaborative experiences and awesome gunfights. In terms of size, Vondel is expected to be slightly larger than Ashika Island and smaller than Warzone 2's original map, Al Mazrah. The new exclusion zone can facilitate eighteen operators at one time, keeping you at the edge of your seat and on guard. 

Like Al Mazrah's sandstorms, Vondel will experience weather features to cause discomfort to players. The dynamic feature planned in Vondel is fog, causing players to lose visibility easily and possibly become disoriented. 

Additionally, players on DMZ will be offered an exclusive contract named "Signal Intelligence" that will allow operators to hack phones, gaining rewards from the contracts within their area. Therefore, players are going to be able to prosper from and steal contracts they haven't even officially picked up, causing more attention and frustration within the battlegrounds.
