As excitement for Season 3 of The Witcher is building up, fans are anticipating a lot for the upcoming season. The Witcher series has remained quite faithful to the book series that the video game series was based on. It looks like there is a lot to look forward to in Season 3 of The Witcher. In the trailer, you can see that Ciri is being hunted by The Wild Hunt. The Wild Hunt was a looming antagonist in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt video game. This will also be the first time The Wild Hunt will have a major appearance in the Netflix show. It will be interesting to see what role they will play in Season 3 of The Witcher.
The Witcher Season 3 Launch Date
On top of getting a peek at what Season 3 will look like for The Witcher, the trailer that Netflix gave us also had the launch date for the upcoming season. Fans can get ready because Season 3 of The Witcher will launch on June 29th. However, only part of the season will release that day it seems.
On June 29th, Volume 1 of Season 3 will launch that day. Volume 2 of Season 3 though will launch on July 27th, nearly a month later. Right now, it is currently unknown why Season 3 was separated into two different volumes this time around. But that is the current release format, so fans have a lot to look forward to.
