Tarkov Gunsmith Part 20 Mechanic Quest Guide

After completing Escape from Tarkovs Gunsmith Part 19, Mechanic will bestow an interesting build upon you, requesting you build a fully modified M1A. Thankfully, players can purchase the M1A from Peacekeeper loyalty level three, therefore they won't need to wander the ruins of Reserve and kill Glukhar for his M1A. The M1A is an incredibly high-powered weapon, having players shred through level-six armor and the dreams of pistol runners. Mechanic will teach you (through this task) how to build an incredible weapon optimized for mid-range combat, although, you shouldn't bring this weapon into Factory with a long-range scope. Additionally, you must obtain level 37 to begin this task.

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 20

Gunsmith Part 20 will require a series of weapon attachments for the M1A following these criteria:

• 60 Durability
• 20 or more ergonomics
• 400 or less recoil
• 7.3 kg or less in weight
• A magazine
• M14 UltiMAK M8 Forward Optic mount
• Nightforce ATACR 7-35x56 34mm riflescope
• Aimpoint Micro T-1 reflex sight
• Holosun LS321 Tactical device

If you don't have Peacekeeper level 3 (which you most definitely should) you can locate an M1A on scav boss Glukhar on Reserve, the M1A is known to also spawn in weapon containers throughout Tarkov. The attachment M14 UltiMAK M8 Forward Optic mount is most likely the most irritating attachment to find, players will list this item for 200-400k roubles at the beginning of wipes because they know it's needed for this task, but you can find it by running Customs loot missions.

To complete Gunsmith Part 20, modify the M1A with these attachments:

Considering we are nearing the end of the Gunsmith tasks, it may appear obvious that these attachments are not easy to locate within raid. Players are going to have to purchase these items to progress into the next tasks quickly, however, if poor perhaps you could farm these items in a few days. The loyalty levels are incredibly achievable for a level 37 and quite frankly no level 37 player has an excuse not to easily complete this task.

• 1× AR-15 Hera Arms CQR pistol grip/buttstock
• 1× Hera Arms CQR tactical foregrip
• Unlocks purchase of AR-10 KAC QDC 7.62x51 Muzzle Brake Kit at Mechanic LL3
• Unlocks purchase of Magpul MOE Carbine rubber buttpad at Peacekeeper LL4

The task Euros are slightly underwhelming, however, if you purchase items from mechanic for Euros and sell them back to him or another trader, you'll be able to earn the roubles back, but who cares when you get 26,600 XP?
