Tarkov Gunsmith Part 10 Mechanic Quest Guide

After finishing Gunsmith Part Nine with flying colors, players will find themselves almost halfway through Mechanics Gunsmith Tasks. Already, players would've claimed around 50,000XP for possibly thirty minutes of their time, providing you didn't have to find any attachments in a raid. Lucky for you, Gunsmith part ten begins to ramp up the money requirement, having you purchase far more expensive attachments and weapons to complete the tasks. 

Gunsmith Part 10 features the AK-105, many confuse this weapon with Reshala and his guards, however, the AK-105 is one of several AK variants within Escape from Tarkov. More specifically, the AK-105 is a shortened carbine version of the AK-74M, derived from the original AK-47 design. The AK-105 is compact, agile, and perfect for a Gunsmith task. 

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 10

Gunsmith Part 10 will require a series of weapon attachments for the AKS-74N following these criteria:

• 60 Durability
• 500 or less recoil
• 38 or more ergonomics
• 800 or greater sighting range
• 4.8 kg or less in weight
• A silencer
• AK-74 5.45x39 6L31 60-round magazine

Note: Despite the quest specifying an 8-slot build, 10 slots are currently accepted. Make sure to additionally fold the AK-105 stock before handing it over to Mechanic. 

You are able to purchase the AK-105 from Prapor at loyalty level three, the AK-105 is readily available on the Flea market at a reasonable price. If lacking funds, check weapon crates, although you'll struggle due to the rare spawn chance. 

How To Complete Gunsmith Part 10

To complete Gunsmith Part 10, build the AK-105 with these modifications:

Similar to more recent Gunsmith tasks, you'll likely struggle to find all these items inside the raid, therefore you'll save a considerable amount of time spending money and splashing out on the Flea market. If loyal to scavenging, these items have a high spawn chance in Interchange within the KIBA weapons store, random weapon crates, and on PMC operatives you eliminate. 

Gunsmith Part 10 Rewards

Here are the following rewards for Gunsmith Part 10:

• +10,400 EXP
• Mechanic Rep +0.02
• 5× Bundle of wires
• 2× Metal spare parts
• Unlocks purchase of Ammunition case at Mechanic LL2

Despite not seeing much of a financial return, the unlock of an ammunition case is incredibly helpful for the stash - a clean stash is a clean mind. Additionally, you can sell the wires and spare metal parts on the Flea market, likely 70k roubles worth of loot here plus 10.4K XP!
