In between the busy life of juggling lots of stats and multiple fighting styles and solving a global mystery, your avatar won’t only have the option to dress in quality Capcom finery but will need to upgrade said gear too in order to keep up with the game’s later scaling enemies and boss fights. When Does Gear Enhancement Unlock In SF6 World Tour Mode

Gear enhancement in World Tour will unlock during Chapter 7 once West Metro City is made accessible via the subway. It is first made available over at Gomorrah, the large outdoor clothing store beside the Japanese restaurant. At this point, upgrading your gear might not feel too necessary, but we’d absolutely keep it in mind for later portions of the story where higher-level enemies will hit a lot harder, requiring some mindful upkeep in your defense stat.
