‘Return to Silent Hill’ Shows First Look At Pyramid Head In Film Previews

The 'Return to Silent Hill' movie was announced during last year's Silent Hill Transmission, and it seems that the film is finally nearly ready for release, with producers offering a first look at Pyramid Head and preview screenings at the Cannes Film Festival. The film's version of Pyramid Head looks much like previous iterations of the character, but features a wired webbing on the front side of his head. 

With the reveal of Pyramid Head and some preview screenings of the movie being shown, this means that fans could likely see a 2024 or 2025 release date for 'Return to Silent Hill' - though nothing is confirmed quite yet in terms of a specific release date for the movie.

'Return to Silent Hill' is a movie adaptation of the second Silent Hill game, which is currently being remade by Bloober Team and is set for a 2024 release. Some regard the original title as one of the best horror games of all time, thanks to its harrowing story that discusses challenging, taboo topics in tactful yet jarring ways.

The Pyramid Head shown to be in Return to Silent Hill takes on a slightly different appearance from the version shown in the original title.
