During the PlayStation State of Play today, Konami revealed some new information about Bloober Team's upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake - including a new trailer and an official 8 October release date.
Many fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting more information about Silent Hill 2 since its announcement during last year's Silent Hill Transmission. Prior to today's State of Play announcement, news was scarce, with fans only getting a combat trailer and no solid release date aside from a promise that the game will be released "sometime in 2024."
Now, there's an official 8 October release date. This means that fans will only have to wait around five more months to try out the exciting new remake of the iconic psychological horror, featuring protagonist James Sunderland as he explores the terrifying town of Silent Hill.
