How to get Rocket League PS Plus Pack for free

Originally launched back in April 2020, Sony's Play At Home initiative has offered PlayStation 4/5 owners free games and content such as Subnautica and Ratchet and Clank, and was designed to help gamers maintain social distancing and aid indie developers affected by the coronavirus pandemic 

That initiative is now coming to an end but not without one last freebie haul as Sony is partnering with a number of titles to give away a range of in-game items and virtual currencies for some of the platforms biggest games including NBA 2K21, Rocket League, and Call of Duty: Warzone.

For fans of Rocket League, the giveaway contains a favourite of any player of the socCar game, cosmetics for the game's cars with anyone who owns the game on PlayStation able to pick up the PlayStation Plus Pack for free from the 17th of May.

Here is how you can get your hands on it.

How to get the Rocket League: PlayStation Plus Pack for free

This free pack contains four cosmetics, they are:

• Blue Notch Wheels
• Blue Smoke Boost
• Blue Rocks Trail
• Trimpact BL Player Banner

It may go without saying (but we will anyway), this pack is only available to those playing on the PlayStation 4 and 5.

To claim the Playstation Plus Pack online, follow these steps.

1. Go to the Playstation Store
2. Sign-in to your account
3. Go to the Rocket League Playstation Pack webpage 
4. Click Add to Library 
5. Launch Rocket League on your Playstation
6. Claim the items in-game 

To claim the Playstation Plus Pack PlayStation 4/5, follow these steps.

1. Go to the PlayStation Store on your console
2. Search for Rocket League
3. Select the Rocket League PlayStation Plus Pack icon
4. Select Claim
5. Launch Rocket League
6. Claim the item in-game.

This pack is available from 17th May until 6th June.
