North American organisation Evil Geniuses is returning to Rocket League Esports after a two-year absence.
On 5th October, Leonardo “Catalysm” Crist Ramos, Ivan “ivn” Sabri, Riccardo “Rizex45” Mazzotta and coach Kuno “Mumen” Hildebrandt signed with EG for the RLCS 2021-22 season.
“A new era of dominance is ready to take over”, tweeted out the org after the announcement.
This means that the roster will be representing the white and blue Geniuses in all European car soccer competitions effective immediately.
Evil Geniuses left the RLEsports scene back in 2019 after little by little their roster was dismantled through the seasons, ending their year-and-a-half run.
Now, picking up an EU roster, EG will be represented across the pond for the first time in the esport, with one hell of a starting squad, to say the least.

German Amigos had one of the most successful independent roster RLCS campaigns and offseasons in recent memory and it would’ve been a crime not signing these rocketeers.
Taking home a runner-up The Grid, finishing Top 8 in the Spring Major, winning the BS+COMP Invitational, Community Open, TCS International Masters and Samsung Odyssey League, the Amigos amassed almost $50,000 in prize pool earnings all by themselves in just seven months.
Now, the independent roster is looking to prove themselves with one of the most recognizable orgs backing them up with their chance to bring back EG to the top at the upcoming Christmas LAN.
