To get the Reinforced Rod in Fisch, you must travel to the Desolate Deep. I've already explained how to find this new underwater zone in a previous guide—so for brevity, I'll summarize what you have to do here:

• Go to the buoy at -787, 132, -3104 behind Sunstone Island.
• Buy the Advanced Diving Gear for 15,000 Cash.
• Dive down until you find a white sign.
• Find the cave entrance to the left of the sign.

After making it through the cave, you'll find a merchant’s shop where you can buy the Reinforced Rod in Fisch for 20,000 Cash. This rod is necessary for catching fish in the Brine Pool. While this fishing rod is pretty mid, it is the only rod that works in the Brine Pool.
