Goat Simulator is Getting a "Goat Direct" Showcase This April

Do you like silly sandbox games that started life as an elaborate joke? Particularly ones that let you play as a chaotic, laws of physics-defying goat licking cars and trash and people?

If you answered a resounding 'Yes!' to this very specific question then you'll be pleased to know that the devs behind Goat Simulator have an exciting announcement to make: A new, and very real, 'Goat Direct' showcase is coming this April 1st. 

Ever one to commit to the bit, Coffee Stain Studios launched the original Goat Simulator on April 1, 2014, and this upcoming showcase will mark the games anniversary with a batch of announcements.

What to Expect From Goat Simulator's 'Goat Direct'

While the specifics are being kept in the pen for now, fans can look forward to some World Premiere reveals for Goat Simulator 3, some updates on Goat Simulator: The Card Game, and plenty more.

Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director at Coffee Stain North, said: "2024 will always be the ‘Year of the Goat’ in our hearts, but we can’t wait to celebrate even more exciting revelations coming in 2025. We do realise that announcing lots of new things on April Fools day isn’t always the best of ideas, but we think we’ve truly outdone ourselves this year, so please believe us and tune in to ‘Goat Direct’!”  

The showcase marks the end of the Goat Simulator franchise's 10th anniversary celebrations, which began last year and saw the announcement of the Anniversary Update, the first major DLC for Goat Simulator 3, and the release of  Goat Simulator: Remastered. 

How to Watch Goat Simulator's 'Goat Direct'

The 'Goat Direct' Showcase will be taking place on April 1, at 15:00 BST / 16:00 CEST / 07:00 PDT / 10:00 EDT.  Ewe'll (ugh) be able to catch the action as it unfolds by tuning into the showcase via the Goat Simulator YouTube channel.
