Resident Evil Village Lockpicks: All locations and where to find

Resident Evil Village is at its core faithful to the Resident Evil formula and amongst many other things that means that there will be a lot of secrets to discover.

We all know that inventory management and the scarcity of resources are inseparable parts of any Resident Evil game, and that's the case with Resident Evil Village as well.

There are so many locks to unlock, but just a few lockpicks! Sometimes that might be annoying but it can also be very rewarding when you find all lockpicks hidden around the castle and scattered across the village.

Resident Evil Village lockpicks locations: Where to find lockpicks?

In total, there are 10 lockpicks to be found in the game. Some of them are easy to spot, for some you will need to search a bit, and others are on locations where you might not look if you don't know that something can be found there.

Castle Dimitrescu lockpick locations

1st

The first one can be found in the hallway in front of the kitchen, and it is quite easy to spot near a lantern on the sideboard.

2nd

The second one is located in the attic. Just kill a zombie with a sword, and the lockpick is on the sideboard behind the zombie.

3rd

The next one is also quite easy to spot. It is in the armoury, sitting on a work table with a few helmets on it.

The village lockpick locations

4th

You will notice a gate with the message "Locked due to missing homeowner."

Break the lock and go inside the yard, and on your right, you will notice a toilet. Open it and you will find a lockpick inside.

5th

This one is rather easy. You will see a well in the centre of the location. Use a wheel on it, bring the bucket up, and there will be a lockpick inside it.

6th

The 6th lockpick is located in the garden area. There is an isolated object there, and at one point when you are inside, a group of zombies with sickles will attack you. Kill them all, and collect loot, including a lockpick.

7th

You will immediately notice an abandoned house in the area. Just go inside and you will find a lockpick near a barricaded window.

8th

Another well, but this time around you will discover a secret ladder leading to the underground location.

Go down and in the muddy water just beneath the ladder, you will spot a lockpick.

Heisenberg's factory lockpick locations

9th

One you will find in the underground cave area, in one of the dead ends. There's a metal cabinet there and the lockpick is inside it.

10th

Finally, the second lockpick in Heisenberg's factory is located in the Operating Room.

When you enter a room there's a table right in front of you, and a lockpick on it.
