Resident Evil 4: How To Get The Shotgun

Resident Evil 4 is an action horror game with many frantic encounters that will require you to be swift and precise. Thankfully, the game provides a plethora of tools for you to overcome any and every obstacle in the game.

One early weapon that is extremely powerful and surprisingly easy to miss is the pump-action shotgun, also known as W-870. Here's our guide explaining how to get this shotgun in Resident Evil 4.

You can find the pump-action shotgun in a house in the village area early on in the game. The house is left of the church with the Insignia symbol. The shotgun is on the second floor of this house.

Since you'll probably be running haywire, it's easy to miss out on this weapon. Look for a board on the second floor next to the open window. Thankfully, the shotgun is kept in the same place as the original, so if you have played that, you probably won't have much trouble finding it. 

If you do, however, miss out on getting the pump-action shotgun for free, you can buy it later on from the merchant for 20,000 coins. The merchant will also have other variants of shotguns for sale as you progress further in the game, so if the pump-action shotgun isn't your favorite type, you have nothing to worry about.
