Resident Evil 4 Remake is now available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as all iPads and Macbooks with M-series chips, Capcom announced earlier today alongside releasing a brand new launch trailer which, unsurprisingly, looks pretty great.
If you didn't know, all iPhone 15 Pro Models come with the A17 Pro Chip, which features hardware-accelerated ray tracing and a powerful GPU that allows it to run AAA games. Resident Evil 4 was confirmed to be one of the first few AAA games that would be coming to iPhone 15 Pro models, alongside Resident Evil Village and Kojima Production's Death Stranding.
Current-gen AAA games running on mobile devices seem a bit absurd, but RE 4 Remake on iPhone 15 Pro is no slouch. It features a wide array of graphics options and responsive in-built touch controls. The iPhone version of RE 4 is also compatible with PlayStation, Xbox, and other third-party wireless controllers to offer a more premium handheld experience.
Resident Evil 4 Remake was released on Windows and consoles earlier this year to universally critical acclaim. The game currently has a Metacritic score of 93/10. We had plenty of positive things to say about RE 4 as well. In our review, we called it "a masterfully streamlined reimagining of Leon and Ashley's 18-year-old adventure that once again cements itself as the greatest action horror game of all time."
Resident Evil 4 Remake is now available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad, PC (Windows, Mac), PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
