Redfall Launch Trailer Features Guns, Abilities, And Vampires

Bethesda has revealed the launch trailer for its upcoming co-op open world shooter, Redfall, a few days ahead of its release.

The nearly three minutes long trailer opens up with a shot of Redfall's map, showcasing different points of interest which players will get to explore. 

Alongside different environments, the trailer also features gameplay snippets of all four playable characters - Layla, Dev, Jacob, and Remi.

Redfall is developed by Arkane Austin, the studio responsible for critically acclaimed titles like Dishonored and Prey. Harvey Smith, who directed Dishonored 2 at Arkane Lyon, returned to Arkane Austin to create this unique co-op vampire hunting game. 

With Redfall, Xbox seems to kick off its first of many first-party releases of the year. Other notable 2023 releases include Bethesda Game Studios's sci-fi RPG Starfield and Turn 10's racing simulator Forza Motorsport. Like the aforementioned Xbox Games Studios titles, Redfall will also release day one on Xbox Game Pass. 

In our Redfall Preview, we said that "it [Redfall] is every bit the Arkane game you know and love, but (surprisingly) with far better shooting and some top-notch combat that feels really engaging." 
Redfall arrives on 2nd May 2023 for Xbox Series S/X, Xbox Game Pass, and PC.
