The Great Human Bake-Off is a Found Item quest which players can begin by finding A Very Old… Grocery List somewhere in Bahari Bay. Players will have a bake-off of their own after discovering the list to be a recipe for an ancient human dessert, Macarons, and will have to make a few to complete the quest.

But if players have yet to find this quest or complete it, this quest will award them with a delightful yet delicious treat as a reward. So, before the bake-off can commence, we’ve listed all the quest objectives to help players through this quest and earn the rewards in-game:

How To Complete The Great Human Bake-Off Found Item Quest In Palia?

Players discovered a sand heap, hoping that Tau may have left something behind, but searching through it, they found an old grocery list with various ingredients listed. This heap can be located south of the Flooded Steps, which, reading this list, starts The Great Human Bake-Off quest, and they can head to Kilima Village and find out if any Villager knows anything about it.

They can speak to Einar, Hekla, Jina, and Reth, but neither knows anything about the ingredients or the list except for Hekla, who provided a backstory and revealed it to be ingredients needed to bake Macarons. She’ll encourage them to try out the recipe for which they must forage Sweet Leaf and buy Flour, Eggs, and Milk before heading to their home kitchen to prepare and bake some Macarons.

They are required to have two Mixing Stations placed in their home kitchen, which can be crafted at their Worktable before being placed on their Housing Plot. After grounding the Sweet Leaf before mixing it with the remaining ingredients, they will produce three Macaron dishes, which they can return to Hekla to show her the end result.

Showing Hekla the Macarons will inspire her to make mushroom-flavored ones, which is where the quest concludes. Upon the quest’s completion, they’ll receive ten Renown and the Macarons recipe for which they can prepare more Macarons for friends or to enjoy alone, granted they have the ingredients to prepare this exquisite dish.
