Playable Decor, Snowball Fights, And More Arriving In Palia's Holiday Homestead Update

Winterlights will kick into full gear this December as the next content update for Singularity 6's cozy MMO Palia is awaiting deployment to PC and Nintendo Switch. As this next update will be the last one for 2024 as The Elderwood awaits players in 2025, the v0.187 patch, the Holiday Homestead update, looks to bring the community together in new festive activities.

In the upcoming update, which launches on 17th December 2024, the developer provided some details on content that will be included to help Palians prepare their homes for the holidays. Likewise, the update's maintenance period and full patch notes will be available hours before the update becomes available on the aforementioned date.

Palia's annual holiday event, Winterlights, has returned to Kilima Village and neighboring Bahari Bay, where the frosty weather has blanketed these locations, and Winterlights decorations adorned the Adventure Zones for that festive feel. Singularity 6 announced on the game's social media channels that Palia's next update, the v0.187 patch, Holiday Homestead, will be sleighing its way to PC and Switch consoles with new in-game content, Premium Store additions, new decor items, and more to enjoy during the Holiday break.

A new type of decor will be making its way to Palia as a new playable Game Board decor set, which the Palian community can enjoy moving these pieces around in an epic game against one another. But the fun doesn't stop there as Snowball Fights are returning with Winterlights Snowballs already available at the Winterlights Store for purchase or earned when finding the Winterlights Treasure Chests.

On the the subject of decor, Curtains are finally getting added to Palia, so do stop by Tish's Furniture Store for more details and check out the available drapery to adorn their homes. Palians will also be able to customize their decor pieces further as new decor tints are coming to Palia, likely with new color shades and palettes for them to discover.

A new landscape option, Aurora Peaks, will be available via the Premium Store, and new seasonal pets and mythical and festive outfits will also be available! And finally, more emotes are heading to the cozy MMO but it's unclear if these will be added for free or will be paid items available from the Premium Store in-game.
