Outriders Worldslayer - How to Mod Weapons and Armor

Outriders Worldslayer makes significant changes to the base game's looter shooter formula. There are not just new Epic and Legendary gear to acquire, but also Apocalypse gear.

In Worldslayer, the higher your Apocalypse Tier, the higher the drop rate of  Apocalypse gear. However, only acquiring high-end gear isn't the way to victory in Outriders Worldslayer. You must mix and match weapons and armor mods to have the best possible build.

How to gain mods in Outriders Worldslayer

Every regular Epic and Legendary gear in Outriders Worldslayer has two mods. On the other hand, Apocalyptic Epic and Legendary gear have three mods.

To equip one gear's mods on another, you first must dismantle that current gear to gain their mods. Dismantling Epic Gear and Legendary Gear will also give you Platinum, a valuable resource you will need to level up your weapons. 

How to equip mods in Outriders Worldslayer

Once you have the mods, you can go to Zahedi in the camp to upgrade your gear or find a workbench scattered around the world to do the same. To replace your existing mods,  select the weapon or armor of your choice and select 'Mod Gear' from the crafting options. 

The number of mods available to equip will depend upon the number of Rare, Epic, and Legendary gear you have dismantled. Equippable mods are of three Tiers, with Tier 3 containing the most powerful mods.

To mod weapons, you will need Iron, a common resource you can obtain from mining ores, opening chests, and dismantling weapons.

To mod armor, you will need Leather, another common resource you can obtain from hunting animals, and other creatures, opening chests, and dismantling armor pieces.

Once you have sufficient Iron and Leather, you can start applying different mods to your weapons and armor.
