Amongst many Outriders launch-week bugs, probably the most outrageous is the one that completely wipes your inventory and deletes all your items.
Being left without the precious items you've been painstakingly grinding is probably one of the biggest pains a player can experience in a looter shooter game.
And unfortunately, a number of players have been struck with this misfortune and are now left waiting for solutions from developers.
Thankfully, it seems that some kind of a solution is in the works, People Can Fly announced today.
According to the post-launch update post, "the rate of this bug appearing should be greatly reduced once the upcoming patch has been published."
But that's not all, as apparently, players who have lost their items will soon be able to get it back, at least partially.
Outriders inventory deleted: How to restore it

Currently, there are no fixes for this issue, but sometime after Patch One launches and crash fixes are being deployed, People Can Fly intend "to run a one-off mass restoration".
This means that at some point in the near future, on a specific day, there will be a one-time event when players will be able to get their items back.
Here's how it should work:
- Only Epic and Legendary items will be restored, as that's what developers currently are able to do.
- If you have an inventory full of blue gear, it is most likely forever lost.
- The good news is that the restoration will be additive to your inventory, which means that it will not replace your current inventory.
- Restored items may not have the exact same stats as the lost items.
Items that were lost due to a bad connection (before an autosave could complete) are unfortunately lost forever.
Keep in mind that these things might change in the future, as these are just developers' plans.
"Please note that these are our intentions that we are providing here for transparency," developers wrote. "While we will try our hardest to make things right, we, unfortunately, cannot make guarantees for the specifics of the above or the timeline of this, as we may run into technical difficulties that delay our work."
The exact date for this one-time restoration event is yet to be announced, but we will keep you updated.
