While exploring the vast world of No Man's Sky, you will come across various locked doors and containers. As a result, you'll need to find the blueprint of their key first and then craft it, which is quite a lengthy process.

How To Unlock Atlas Pass In No Man's Sky

Step 1: Head to a Space Station

The first step to unlocking the Atlas Pass is to head to a space station. Once you're there, head to the cartographer's desk and talk to the vendor. Next, you'll need to purchase a map to help you locate a secure site of interest, which is where you'll find the manufacturing facility that will ultimately lead you to the Atlas Pass.

Step 2: Locate a Manufacturing Facility

Once you've obtained the map, you'll want to fire it off and follow the coordinates to the manufacturing facility. You'll know you're in the right place when you see a locked door with reinforced panels. You'll need to break open the door using your weapon of choice, but be warned - this will alert the Sentinels, who will attack you until you enter the building.

Step 3: Save Your Progress

Before proceeding inside the facility, make sure to save your progress. Every landmark in the game has a save point outside, so look for it and make a manual save to ensure you don't lose any progress if things go wrong.

Step 4: Solve the Riddle

Inside the manufacturing facility, you'll find a terminal with a riddle in the system language of the race that inhabits the system. The riddle will ask you to perform a task or solve a puzzle. If you answer correctly, the alarm will stop, and you'll be rewarded with the Atlas Pass.

Step 5: Choose Your Reward

Once you've solved the riddle, you'll be given a choice of rewards. For example, you can extract nanites or units or learn a new recipe. Whatever reward you choose, the Atlas Pass will be yours, and you can use it to unlock various doors and containers throughout the game.
