Nightingale offers players a unique survival adventure experience, where they must craft, fight, and explore their way through the Fae Realms and back to the city of Nightingale. But like most survival games, Nightingale offers players the chance to play with friends, either in co-op or in multiplayer.
The game can be enjoyed fully solo or with friends, but there are certain prerequisites you'll need to meet before you can do the latter. Below, we'll go over exactly how to invite friends to your game and set up multiplayer in Nightingale.

How To Invite Friends To Game In Nightingale
The first thing you need to be aware of is that you can only play with friends once you've completed the game's tutorial. This means completing the tasks in the first introductory biomes, with Puck's guidance, until you're out in your chosen realm.
With the tutorial out of the way, you can now invite friends to your game, and vice-versa. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open up the in-game menu by pressing TAB
- Navigate to the Party & Social menu
- Here you can Create A Party and search for the friend you wish to invite
- You'll need to input their character name, plus the numbers attached. You can find this information to the top right of the Party & Social menu.
In the Party & Social menu, you can also toggle your party invites between private and public, depending on whether or not you'd like randoms joining your realm.
