How to get mint in New World

Like virtually any MMO in existence, crafting and cooking are big components of player progression, gear upgrading, and stat-boosting, with New World being no different. 

The Amazon Games title, which has had a rocky launch due to server issues this past few days, features a unique cooking ingredient, mint, which allows you to temporarily increase your gear score when crafting Arcana items by 10 via the Wild Berry compote recipe.

Unlike ingredients such as onion, mint can be found in the wilderness, but only by searching the Windsward region for purple plants called herbs.

There are a total of eight locations to find and farm mint, let's break them all down.

New World - Where to find mint

As stated, there are a total of eight locations for you to farm mint, each featuring a different amount of herbs for you to harvest, meaning you'll get your hands on a ton of precious resources thanks to his handy guide. 

Windsward Watchtower

South of the settlement past the watchtower, you'll eventually run into a patch of herbs perfect for you to harvest.

Cooper's Ranch

Right at the entrance to Cooper's Ranch moving from the settlement, you'll find some herbs hidden behind some trees.

Fisherman's Bend

Just above the fast travel location near Fisherman's Bend, you'll find a bunch of mint to farm near Primrose farm.

Willette's Homestead

Now go below the fast travel point, crossing the river until you reach Willette's Homestead, you'll find herbs near the river.

Keep moving right until you reach the crossroad, right where the path splits there'll be more herbs for you to harvest.

Buccaneer Creek

As you keep travelling to the east, you'll find yourself inching closer to Buccaneer's Creek. Near the river on this pathway, you'll encounter more herbs to harvest.

Now directly located above Buccaneer's Creek near a building, you'll spot herbs in front of it.

The final spot is just a few meters away from the seventh one, move a bit to the south following the road leading you to Buccaneer's Creek, and on the right side of it, you'll find the last batch of herbs.
