Another year brings new features, and for Madden 24 relocation there's actually good news for the first time in over a decade. New cities have been added, and you can relocate your Franchise Mode team more easily than ever before.
Here, we'll detail exactly how you can relocate in Franchise Mode to use a custom team. We've also got a list of all the Madden 24 relocation cities as well as the team names and branding you can choose from.
How to Relocate in Madden 24 Franchise Mode
If you're hoping to use a custom team in Franchise Mode instead of one of the default NFL teams in Madden 24, the only process to make that a reality is via relocation. Fortunately, Madden 24 relocation has a few quality of life changes that will make things better this year.
As always, the most important detail is that when creating a new Franchise Mode save you've set yourself as an Owner or Coach, as using a Player for a career mode style Franchise will not allow you to relocate. On top of that, you will want to look in League Settings when setting up your save to make sure Relocation Settings near the bottom is set to Everyone or Users Only.
Once your save has begun, check on your Stadium and you'll see the option to Relocate. In previous versions this was tied more closely to a required deterioration rating on your stadium, but you can force relocation for any team now.
Once you've chosen a city and team branding, the Madden 24 relocation will kick in immediately. You no longer have to wait a whole season for things to get setup, and that new save will swap over to your custom team right away.
Madden 24 Relocation Cities
We've had a fairly extensive list of cities to choose from in the past, but they've actually leveled up with even more Madden 24 relocation cities to choose from. Below we've listed all of the cities you'll be able to go with, and beside them are their Market Size, Personality, and Fan Interest.
Market Size tends to indicate how many fans that region has and how much money you might be able to pull in as a franchise. Personality has more to do with how the fans will react during tough seasons when you aren't constantly winning.
Here are all the Madden 24 relocation cities:

Madden 24 Custom Team Names, Relocation Branding
In previous years, custom teams were actually tied to their location in Franchise Mode. All of the various cities only had two or three teams to choose from, but they've loosened things up this time around.
If you wanna use a Madden 24 custom team, you'll be able to choose from (almost) any of these options no matter which city you go with. The Oilers remain exclusive to Houston, as God intended.
