Level Zero: Extraction is getting a closed beta test on Steam, starting 15 March 2024. Along with the closed beta, publisher tinyBuild and developer DogHowl games also released a new gameplay trailer. It showcases the upcoming first-person multiplayer extraction title, which describes itself as a blend of "sci-fi survival horror" and "the thrill of high-stakes extraction shooters."
The brand-new trailer is the game's first gameplay reveal trailer and is fans' first look into real action from the Level: Zero Extraction game. You can check out Level Zero: Extraction's gameplay reveal trailer just below:
In the video, which lasts just over 2 minutes, players can take a look at the game's monsters, survivor characters, and even the inventory UI as characters explore the terrifying world of Level Zero.
Level Zero: Extraction is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and promises to offer a "new, original take" on multiplayer survival horror, a genre dominated by titles like Dead by Daylight. In Level Zero: Extraction, players will scavenge up resources on expeditions while competing against other teams; so they're tossing in a little 'Escape from Tarkov' for good measure. Meanwhile, other players will take on the roles of monsters attempting to hunt players down.
The game will be ready for Early Access on Steam in 2024 - but prior to its release, the upcoming closed beta will be the only way to play the game. Stay tuned for more information as the game's release date nears.
