Should You Pull For Silver Wolf In Honkai Star Rail?

Silver Wolf is confirmed to arrive in Honkai Star Rail 1.1, and fans are already very excited. After getting a taste of what Silver Wolf has to offer during the opening tutorial of the game, Silver Wolf has become one of the most anticipated Honkai Star Rail characters alongside her fellow Stellaron Hunter, Kafka. That being said, is all this hype justified, or is Silver Wolf not actually worth spending your precious Stellar Jade pulling for?

Should You Pull For Silver Wolf In Honkai Star Rail?

Yes, you should probably pull for Silver Wolf in Honkai Star Rail. First and foremost, Honkai Star Rail is a game and a PVE game at that. In this sense, you can beat the entire campaign with Asta and Sampo if you really wanted to. You should always prioritize characters who will increase your enjoyment of the game, regardless of where they place on a soon-to-be outdated tier list. 

That being said, here are a few reasons why you might want to consider saving some Stellar Jade to pull for Silver Wolf. 

Quantum Characters Are Rare

There are not that many Quantum characters available in Honkai Star Rail, at least those that are easily accessible. Qingque is given to all players for free, but Seele and the upcoming Fu Xuan are both limited five-star characters. Silver Wolf could be a great addition to your lineup if you are lacking a Quantum character.

Silver Wolf's Kit Is Future-Proof

Unlike DPS units which are typically power crept by stronger damage-dealers in the future, Silver Wolf is a debuffer with a unique kit that will likely always be valuable. Additionally, Silver Wolf is able to attach a weakness to the enemy selected from a random member of your party. Most content in the game requires players to bring characters with specific Elements to combat enemies. Silver Wolf almost nullifies this requirement, allowing you to bring any characters you want to any kind of content you want, and can do so for any future content as well!

Still Good Despite Rumored Nerfs

Rumors are circulating that Silver Wolf will have some of her kit nerfed upon release. However,  she will still be a powerful character that fits well into a Quantum team. 

At the end of the day, if players really like or dislike Silver Wolf's design or gameplay style, this should be the deciding factor in whether you choose to pull for her or not.
