In order to access the locked metal door located near the Headmaster's Office, it is necessary to acquire the Key of Admittance, which can be found in the study room above the office.

How To Get Key of Admittance in Hogwarts Legacy

Obtaining the Key of Admittance is fairly simple in Hogwarts Legacy. Begin by using the Floo Flames to fast travel to the Trophy Room, located in the Grand Staircase area of Hogwarts.

After departing from the flames, navigate through the hallway filled with statues and proceed towards the gate that lies ahead. Ascend the stairs and advance through the doorway until you arrive at a stonewall.

Upon reaching the staircase, you will have the opportunity to choose between two exterior entrances. Both of these entrances require the usage of Alohomora to unlock them. The first door that you must unlock is located at the summit of the staircase, right next to the stained-glass window.
