Traditionally, the third expansion of the year for Hearthstone is revealed during the opening ceremony at BlizzCon, but this time around things are a little bit different.
Unfortunately for the Blizzard's army of fans, this year BlizzCon 2020 has been officially cancelled, for the first time since 2012 and only third time since the event was established in 2005.
The digital-only version is still being planned, but it will not happen in its usual time around late October and early Novembar. Instead, BlizzCon has been postponed to February 2021.
This means that Team 5 (the developers in charge of Hearthstone's development) will have to announce news about the expansion and other additions in a different manner.

And they've revealed today that the announcement event will happen earlier than we expected - next week!
On top of that, if you watch that stream, you'll earn a couple of free packs, so make sure to tune in.
Here's everything you need to know.
Hearthstone Fall Reveal Stream Date and Time

Hearthstone Fall Reveal - what to expect?
During the Fall Reveal stream, they will announce the new expansion, System Revamp, and a completely new game mode.

Judging by the single eye image, which represents C'Thun, the new expansion will most likely be connected to the Old Gods, which were first introduced in Hearthstone with the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion set.
System Revamp is probably a highly criticized "Hearthstone Battle Pass" which was leaked this summer thanks to a survey sent to selected players.

The system has been greeted with outrage back then since it looked like it will give significantly less value to the players than what they earn right now with the Daily Quest system, but the final version yet remains to be seen.
Finally, a new game mode is something that was announced back at the beginning of this year, but we will have to wait for the reveal stream to find out what it is about exactly.
