The highly-anticipated release of Halo Infinite delivered one of the best first-person shooter's of the year just as the holiday season arrived. First, the multiplayer mode went live, with the subsequent release of the campaign shortly after.
Just like any other title, Halo Infinite comes with exclusive challenges for players to complete. These challenges task players with in-game achievements, and reward points to universal gamerscores.
Here's everything you need to know about how to complete the Halo Infinite New Kid on the Block challenge.
How to complete the Halo Infinite New Kid on the Block achievement
The New Kid on the Block challenge will require players to show some expertise with the VK78 Commando rifle. The VK78 is one of the new weapons in Halo Infinite, so the achievement seems like a natural way to encourage players to test out the new rifle.
Unlocking this achievement will require some serious skill as you'll need to shoot perfectly to complete it. New Kid on the Block in Halo Infinite requires players to get a Perfect Medal with the VK78 Commando rifle.
To get a Perfect Medal in Halo Infinite, players must hit all of their rifle shots and then finish off an enemy with a headshot. As mentioned this will be rather difficult to complete, and its "Rare" status certainly suggests that.
