GW2 The Midnight King, The Final Secrets Of The Obscure Chapter, Is Out

The final chapter of Guild Wars 2 Secrets of the Obscure expansion called The Midnight King is all set to release today on May 21. It is the third and last major update of the expansion and will bring new story chapters, explorable area, boss, and more. 

The update will take us to the Citadel of Zakiros in the Inner part of Nayos, where you will find Midnight King and a climactic meta-event chain. Apart from this, you will also be able to access Lonely Tower, the latest fractal dungeon in which you will help Isgarren, Mabon, and Dagda in defeating Kryptis.

Additionally, you will also be able to grab the legendary Obsidian armor set, refreshed Wizard’s Vault rewards and challenges, and six new relics. A new challenge mode will also be released which will be the squad-based version of Convergences and will feature five legendary bosses. Clear it as fast as you can and climb the leaderboard.

Here are some of the other content coming to Guild Wars 2 with The Midnight King update:

• New back piece reward from the meta, two-stage greatsword skin from Fractal (and CM)
• Kryptis eyeball ranger pet, metal legion axe skin, and other rare drops from other activities
• New relics
• New mastery - Wayfinder Mastery, gates tier 2 legendary armor, new vendor for rare drops, reduces arcane chest opening, QR3 meta will give less damage, new meta and Convergence CM loot.

The Midnight King will be available for free for all expansion owners and apart from this, players will also be able to earn Guild Wars 2 Classic Outfit Selection as rewards via Twitch Drops that are now active.
