Genshin Impact The Farmer’s Treasure world quest: How to unlock and complete

Genshin Impact's Inazuma region offers a wide variety of world quests which players come across while exploring the different islands of the Inazuma archipelago. The Farmer's Treasure is one such quest that rewards players with the Amenoma Kaguechi sword diagram, a newly added four-star craftable weapon. 

When players first arrive in the Inazuma region, they are left at a port city called Ritou located in Narukami island. North of Narukami island, there is a small island called Jinren. While exploring Jinren island, players find an NPC locked inside a cage. He is the one who gives The Farmer's Treasure world quest.

In this guide, we will show you exactly how you can trigger and complete The Farmer's Treasure world quest in Genshin Impact. 

How to get The Farmer's Treasure world quest

Go to Jinren island and traverse the mountain. At the apex, you will find the NPC that we were talking about earlier. You can find him locked inside a wooden cage. 

Players can find the cage key on top of a nearby tree. Once you have it, unlock the wooden cage and free the NPC. He will hastily leave and relocate to the beachside of Jinren island. When you meet him, you come to know his name. He is Saimon Jirou, the missing son of Saimon Eri and Saimon Katsumi of Konda village. 

So, why did we mention these additional details?. Because normally, you start the quest from Konda village, where you learn that a person is missing, and your investigation leads you to Jinren island. 

How to complete the Farmer's Treasure world quest

At the beginning of the Farmer's Treasure world quest, Saimon Jioru asks the players to find four old stone tablets. There are no waypoints for this section of the quest.

• Players can find the first old stone slate near Kamisato Estate. It is found in a camp located near the coast.

• The second old stone slate is found inside the Konda village well. 

• The last two old stone slates are found in the Araumi dungeons.

Report back to Saimon Jirou 

Assuming you have managed to get your hands on all four old stone tablets, report back to Saimon Jirou. You can find him on Jinren island. 

Look for the fifth stone slate 

Saimon Jirou will ask you to look for the fifth old stone tablet. And, this time around, he will give you a location. Just go to the marked location and dig the nearby ground to find the fifth old stone tablet.

Confront Saimon Jirou 

The thing is, there is no fifth old stone tablet, Saimon Jirou lied to you, and now it's time to confront him. But, when you go back to Jinren island, you find Saimon Jirou being held captive by a Bandit leader. Defeat all the enemies to progress the quest.  

Open the "treasury" front door using the key

Get inside the treasury, put the four old stone slates on the ground and solve the slate puzzle. 

You can solve it by covering all tiles whilst making sure you don't go through a tile more than once. When you unlock the Treasury you don't find any treasure. 

Report back to Saimon Katsumi in Konda Village

Go back to Konda village and talk to Saimon Katsumi. After a long exchange of dialogues between the Saimon family and the traveler, players will be rewarded with the Amenoma Kaguechi sword diagram.
