Genshin Impact The Catch: How to get, weapon ascension materials, and more

Genshin Impact 2.1 "Floating World under the Moonlight” update will introduce the electro archon, Baal, as one of the playable characters that players can obtain from the Reign of Serenity character event wish banner.

With Baal being an electro user and a polearm wielder, two new polearm weapons are also coming to the game. We are talking about The Catch and the Engulfing Lightning. 

The Catch is a four-star weapon whose secondary stat is Energy Recharge %, and weapon skill, Shanty, which increases elemental burst DMG by 16% and elemental burst CRIT Rate by 6. It is one of the best, if not the best weapon for Baal.

Keep in mind that the above stats are just from the R1 version of The Catch. With refinement at level 5, the Catch is even better than the Engulfing Lightning. Why you may ask?. Because the weapon skill doesn't rely on Baal's stats. And, the Catch is a free-to-get weapon.

How to get The Catch polearm weapon

Players can get "The Catch" polearm weapon from the Inazuma Fishing Association. Once the version 2.1 update is live, and you are done with the new fishing activities introduction, go and talk to the NPC, Kujirai Momiji. You can find her near the shores of Inazuma City. You can exchange the polearm for some items which is not yet known.

But since it is related to the new fishing activity, you probably have to exchange some fish for the weapon.

How to get Chaos Axis, Chaos Gear, and Chaos Oculus

Players can get chaos axis, chaos gear, and chaos oculus by defeating ruin sentinels. They are new enemies found in the Inazuma region, specifically, in the Araumi area, on Narukami island. 

How to get Spectral Husk, Heart, and Nucleus 

Players can get the Spectral Husk and its higher variants by defeating the newly added enemies, Spectres. 

Where to get Mask of the Wicked Lieutenant, One-Horned, and Kijin

Players can get the Mask of the Wicked Lieutenant and its higher variants from the Court of Flowing Sand domain on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
