The Forza franchise has been one of the biggest hits in the racing genre for quite a long time now, with the Horizon spinoff arguably more famous than the Motorsport counterpart.
Horizon has had massive success with the fifth coming of the series releasing earlier this month, with some reviewers claiming it could be a GOTY contender.
Nonetheless, the community that has followed the game closely has intensely begged for a split-screen feature to be added to the game so players can race from the comfort of the same couch, but… have they finally got what they wanted?
Does Forza Horizon 5 have split-screen?
Take into account that fans of the game have been pressing for this feature to be added for over nine years now since the release of the first Forza Horizon.
Now, Playground Games have addressed the reason this is complicated for this series specifically and that is that the open-world environment is very difficult to duplicate on the same console.
Unfortunately for all of us, this continues to be the case as it has been confirmed that there will be no split-screen feature in Forza Horizon 5, which is a bummer.
Now don’t expect either for the feature to be added to the game in a future update as Playground Games also declared that figuring that “issue” is not within the near future plans for the franchise.
As for now, we will have to stick to playing online with our friends in order to prove to them we are still the fastest driver in our group.
