The Milk Cup Winter Split: Everything You Need to Know

With the first-ever Milk Cup having taken place this October, tournament organizers Gonna Need Milk have plenty to take stock of. For one, the entire tournament became one of the most watched women’s esports events in North American esports history, accumulating  2.4 million stream views.

The event also offered the biggest prize pool ever seen for women's esports in North America, with $250,000 up for grabs. It was Team Moxie who took home the trophy at L.A. Comic Con, a team consisting of players Moxie, Regsita, and Dieyuhs. After battling against 32 other teams, and securing three of the six victory royales to win their crown, the team will no doubt be looking ahead to the next tournament. Thankfully, it seems that won't be too far away.

Gonna Need Milk Announced The Milk Cup Winter Split for 2024 

Gonna Need Milk have announced The Milk Cup Winter Split for later this year, giving women Fortnite players another avenue for glory. The set-up this time around will be a little different. While not as big and in-person as the The Milk Cup, it allows players to strike while the iron is hot and continue competing with a tournament before the year is up.

The Milk Cup Winter Split Format

• Playlist: Duos
• Mode: Zero Build
• Prize Pool: $50,000
• Format: Online

The Winter Split will be a Duos tournament, meaning we'll be seeing some shake-ups of the talented trios from The Milk Cup final. We'll also see a switch to Zero Build, which opens up more access to players with raw FPS skill and who might not be as confident when it comes to building. 

This tournament will also be online and will take place across three events. 

How to Watch The Milk Cup Winter Split

At the time of writing, we don't have any locked-in dates for The Winter Split, only that we know it will be coming this year. We'll be sure to update this article with new information as it's announced.
