Fortnite Heavy Sniper Rifle - How to get and stats

Chapter 3 Season 2 of Fortnite is showing no signs of slowing down after Epic Games released the massive Patch Update v20.10. Amongst the game fixes and improvements, Epic decided to bring back a few fan-favourite items.

Jetpacks returned to the island and instantly provide a serious advantage over the competition. Though that might not have been the biggest development of the update, the Heavy Sniper Rifle is also back in action. Here's what you need to know about the stats and how to get the new re-worked Heavy Sniper Rifle.

Fortnite Heavy Sniper Rifle stats re-worked in Chapter 3 Season 2

Arguably the most exciting piece of the v20.10 Patch Update, the Heavy Sniper Rifle has been unvaulted and slightly re-worked as well. Known for dealing serious amounts of damage, the Heavy Sniper Rifle's capabilities have been tweaked to fit the state of play in Chapter 3 Season 2.

In order to be suited to the recent rampage of vehicles, Heavy Sniper Rifle rounds will now deal bonus damage to vehicles in Chapter 3 Season 2. This makes the weapon much more useful to take out opponent machinery from long range and level the playing field.

There are three different versions of the Heavy Sniper Rifle, those are Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Here are the different stats for each tier of the Heavy Sniper after the v20.10 update:

Popular and trusted Fortnite source, HYPEX, has added that the Heavy Sniper Rifle now deals 640+ Damage to vehicles.

The Legendary version of the Heavy Sniper Rifle will be a premier weapon for Chapter 3 Season 2 gameplay.

How to get a Heavy Sniper Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

Players will be delighted to know that the Heavy Sniper Rifle is not a Special weapon dedicated to an NPC-occupied location. Rather, Heavy Sniper Rifles can be found in Chests, Rare Chests, and Supply Drops.

The better the source you're grabbing the weapon from, the more likely it is that you'll be able to grab a gold Legendary version. Heavy Sniper Rifles can also be upgraded at Upgrade Stations by spending Gold Bars.
