Fortnite Darth Vader - How to Beat, Location, Get Lightsaber

The latest Fortnite 21.10 update has dropped, bringing Darth Vader to the Fortnite map. This means that you can defeat him and get his lightsaber to slice down enemies in style. Darth Vader is even the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 tier 100 Battle Pass skin and leaks had indicated that he will land on the island as a boss.

Darth Vader Location in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3

Darth Vader spawns at a random location on the Fortnite map at the start of every match, meaning you might need to do some searching around. The easiest way to chase him down is by staying in the Battle Bus until a large spaceship passes by you. 

When you see the spaceship, immediately jump out of the Battle Bus and track it down to the ground. The spaceship won’t appear on the map but can be located from a distance, thanks to a blue light that will come out from it. Make sure to land at some distance from the spaceship as Darth Vader will be chaperoned by two Stormtroopers, who will start attacking you instantly.

How to defeat Darth Vader in Fortnite

Darth Vader can prove to be a formidable boss and taking him down won't be easy. He has two big health bars and some extreme attack patterns, including using the force to prevent you from escaping. To make matters worse, you will also need to take care of two of his Stormtroopers who land with him.

The best way to defeat Darth Vader is to land close to him and loot around. Once you are equipped with loot, take out the Stormtroopers stealthily. Then, you can steal their E-11 Blaster Rifle, which is a powerful laser gun with unlimited ammo.

This is the perfect weapon to defeat Darth Vader since you won't need to worry about ammo. You can then proceed with killing him. Make sure to aim for the head and use the environment for covers. The easiest way to kill Darth Vader is when he is already preoccupied with another player. You can then third party and take Darth Vader down, without worrying about him attacking you.

How to get Darth Vader’s Mythic Lightsaber in Fortnite

As soon as you kill Darth Vader, he will drop his Mythic Lightsaber. It works similarly to an ordinary Lightsabers, meaning you can do melee damage and also block incoming bullets. However, this time around, you can even fling Darth Vader’s Lightsaber at other players by aiming and pressing the ‘shoot’ button, which means that you can deal some long-distance damage too.
