The First Descendant open beta has a lot to offer. Between acquiring and leveling up 13 unique characters, new weapons, and cosmetic items, expect to sink plenty of time in this third-person looter-shooter.
However, acquiring some of the game's pristine items, like new skins, requires Caliber, the game's premium currency. Sadly, the game doesn't explicitly mention how to farm this valuable resource. Thankfully, there's one particular way to get loads of Caliber quickly in The First Descendant open beta, and in this guide, we explain just does that.
How to Earn Caliber Quickly in The First Descendant Open Beta
You can quickly get Caliber in The First Descendant open beta by claiming daily login rewards. Logging in to the open beta will get you 500 Caliber every day, with up to 3,500 Caliber over the entire beta. This should be sufficient to buy most of the body skins, weapon skins, and other cosmetic items in The First Descendant open beta.
It's also important to note that all the resources and currency you earn during the open beta will be wiped out after its conclusion, so this is your only chance to use them. We recommend spending all the Caliber unhesitatingly to get a feel of the game. While we don't know how Caliber farming will work in the final game, it probably won't be given out in abundance for just logging in every day.
To claim your login rewards in The First Descendant, interact with one of the many mailboxes in the Albion hub area. These are adorable red robot-like boxes that are hard to miss.
Once you have the Caliber, interact with the Descendant Instructor vendor in Albion to buy new cosmetic items. The cosmetic types currently available are Full Body Skins, Individual Descendant skins, weapon skins, and paint jobs.
That concludes our guide on how to get Caliber quickly in The First Descendant open beta.
