Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.51 is finally here, and with it, a ton of new content is being added to the game. Along with new dungeons, new items, and a Fall Guys collaboration which can be found in the Gold Saucer, several new mounts will also be added to the game. Players wanting to get their hands on these mounts will need to fulfill several new criteria that have been introduced in this most recent patch.
One of these aforementioned new mounts is the Quaqua, a four-legged tiger-like creature with a robotic design and several feathers. It's truly a unique design and a mount that any player would want to add to their collection.
So, if you are interested in learning how to get this mount, you've come to the right place. This article will cover how to get the Quaqua mount in Final Fantasy XIV.
How To Get The Quaqua Mount In Final Fantasy XIV
In order to get the Quaqua mount in Final Fantasy XIV, players will need to clear the newest Criterion Dungeon, Another Aloalo Island. This dungeon can be challenged via the V&C Dungeon Finger either on Normal difficulty or on the more challenging Savage mode. By completing this dungeon, defeating bosses, and gaining chests, players will be able to acquire Aloalo coins. Players will need to acquire 100 Aloalo coins in order to gain this mount.
Once you have 100 Aloalo coins, head to Old Sharlayan and speak with Trisassant (X:11.9 Y:13.3), to exchange your coins for the Quaqua Horn.
Quaqua Horn Description:
"When blown, this horn produces a woody sound that summons forth your quaqua."
As with all other mount whistles, players will need to consume this item in order to add the mount to their inventory. The Quaqua is a Terrestrial movement mount.
Quaqua Description:
"Employed by a treasure hunter of Aloalo Island, this familiar was born of an early form of arcanima, an art which emerged in the south sea isles. The being's origin is attested by its predominantly wooden construction, which precedes the use of gemstones to create Carbuncles."
Alternatively, for players with more Gil than time, it is always possible to purchase the mount via the Market Board. However, for day one price, expect to be paying a lot of money for this mount.
