FIFA 22 continues celebrating legends from times past with Ultimate Team ICON cards that can be obtained via Squad Building Challenges. This time, players can earn an amazing Prime Pavel Nedved to bolster their roster.

Known for being a highly technical, two-footed, winger and attacking midfielder, Pavel Nedved shined bright in the Serie A during the mid-90s and early 00s.

Playing for Lazio between 1996 and 2001, Nedved won a Serie A, two Coppa Italia, two Supercoppa Italiana, a UEFA Super Cup, and a UEFA Cup Winners Cup. At the peak of his career, the Czech was poached by Juventus, with La Vecchia Signora helping him reach new heights.

Despite not accruing the same amount of silverware as he did in Lazio, Nedved was key to Juventus' domestic success, winning two Scudettos and two Supercoppa Italiana's. He was named the 2003 Ballon d'Or, ahead of Arsenal's Thierry Henry and AC Milan's Paolo Maldini.

Even after Juventus was relegated to Serie B due to the Calciopoli scandal, Nedved was one of the few loyal players that stayed with the club, helping them secure a swift return to Serie A. He would eventually retire at the age of 37 in 2009.
