FIFA 22 Gabriel Paulista Showdown SBC - Cheapest solutions, rewards, stats

With FIFA 22 Ultimate Team reaching its final stages as European leagues are nearing their endgame, EA Sports has implemented new cards to inject some life into the game, including Showdown items.

These dynamic cards can be upgraded if the team of the player involved gets a positive result in their designated match. In total, they'll get a +1 OVR if they draw and a +2 if it's a win. For the next Showdown SBC, the devs have selected Gabriel Paulista to represent Valencia. 

The 31-year-old hasn't had a stellar career, however, he cemented himself as a somewhat reliable defensive unit for Europe's mid-level squads. After signing for Villarreal in 2013, Paulista was poached by Arsenal two seasons later, in what could've been the start of his rise in European football.

Instead, the Brazilian flopped massively in the Premier League, opting for a return to LaLiga with Valencia in 2017, where he's become a pillar of Los Che, helping them win the 2019 Copa del Rey.

The Gabriel Paulista Showdown card has some incredible attributes every FUT player looks for on a centre-back, with a few added surprises mixed in as well.

Naturally, he excels at defensive stats including 93 Interceptions, 87 Heading Accuracy, 89 Defensive Awareness, 89 Standing Tackle, 88 Sliding Tackle, 89 Jumping, and 88 Strength. 

On top of that, he has decent Acceleration at 84, and Sprint Speed sitting at 83. If Valencia ends up winning the Copa del Rey, Paulista could become a must-have card in Ultimate Team.
