FIFA 22 Ones to Watch: Predictions, how it works, more

Has there ever been a crazier transfer window? Show someone a picture of Messi in a PSG shirt AND C.Ronaldo back in Manchester United kit at the start of the summer and you'd of been met with later. And that is before we get to Varane, Alaba, Aguero, Camavinga, Lukaku, Grealish, and so on. 

Huge deals, massive changes in squads and who knows yet what team has really done the best business. There is a good case to be made for PSG; bringing in Lionel Messi on a free, alongside Sergio Ramos, Donnarumma, Jakimi and Wijnaldum for £55m in transfer fees is pretty unbeatable.

All-in-all it is sure to make FIFA 22's One To Watch promo, which sees players who got a transfer given special upgradable cards, all the more exciting.

With FIFA 22 soon to come out, the developers have begun teasing who is going to be included this year and based on teasers and various images going around we know, at the least, C. Ronaldo, Grealish, Lukaku, Konate, and Alaba will all get an OTW card.

What are Ones To Watch items?

Ones To Watch are special dynamic players in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team that celebrate the biggest moves during the summer transfer window. 

Throughout the season, players will earn upgrades based on their performances. If they get into FIFA's Team of the Week they will get +1 to their card. Likewise. if they are awarded a Man of the Match card.

And for the first time, there is a new mechanic called "Wins to Watch". Players will be eligible for a one-time +1 In Form upgrade if their team wins five out of their next ten domestic league games starting from October 1, 2021. The OTW players do not have to feature in the games for them to count towards wins.
