As is the case with any EA Sports FIFA title, we are nearing the release of the latest game. Scheduled to hit shelves this Summer, FIFA 22 will surely be selling copy after copy as gamers wait to get their footballing fix.
While there's still time to go in the FIFA 21 Ultimate Team cycle, it seems as though excitement is already growing for FIFA 22. Dataminers and leakers are combing through the archives to try and provide updates and sneak peeks as to what gamers can expect from FIFA 22.
FIFA 21 added nine new ICON players to Ultimate Team, and '22 should be gearing up to let the legends run free as well. Here's all the latest information on potential ICONs for FIFA 22.

Popular FIFA leakers like KingLangpard have already alerted gamers to nine new names who were added to the ICON list. Those players were:
- Gabriel Batistuta
- Iker Casillas
- Cha Bum-Kun
- Diego Forlan
- Lucio
- Robin Van Persie
- Alfredo Di Stefano
- Park Ji Sung
- Wesley Sneijder
- Jaap Stam
Another popular FIFA leaker, FUTWatch, has also tipped that these names have already been added to the game's code:
- Cafu
- Tim Cahill
- Fernando Cavenaghi
- Joe Cole
- Ivan Cordoba
- Jeryz Dudek
- Robbie Keane
- Aleksandr Mostovoi
- Antonio Di Natale
- Abedi Pele
