FIFA 21: Top 10 players in the Premier League

EA has so-far remained tight-lipped about the player ratings in FIFA 21. But now that the release date is drawing closer and the new football season is about to begin, they’ve released a list of the top 100 players in FIFA 21.

We’ve narrowed that down to determine the ten best players in the Premier League.

10. N’Golo Kanté  (88)

N’Golo Kanté is a fan-favourite at Chelsea, and for a good reason. Since transferring over from Leicester City after their historic title win, he’s been Chelsea's most consistent and hardest working player on the pitch. The defensive midfielder’s player rating has dropped from 89 to 88, but it’s still an almighty one that’s helped him nab a place in the top 10.

9. Ederson (88)

Ederson moved to Manchester City from Benfica after Pep Guardiola declared him to be the best fit for his system, and it was a good move for both parties. Ederson has established himself as the second-best goalkeeper in the league with a player-rating of 88, which is the same as it was last year.

8. Raheem Sterling (88)

Raheem Sterling has proven himself to be a magnificent person on and off the pitch. But despite already having achieved so much in his career, it’s hard to believe he’s still only 25 years old. Still, he’s one of the best players in the Premier League, and his player rating hasn’t changed from the 88 he received last season.

7. Harry Kane (88)

Harry Kane is one of the best players in Tottenham Hotspurs' history and the captain of the English national team. His rating has dipped ever so slightly, dropping from 89 to 88 in FIFA 21, but he’s still as potent as ever and the seventh-highest rated player in The Premier League.

6. Sergio Agüero (89)

Sergio Agüero has been making headlines recently for his shenanigans in the gaming world, but it’s hard not to forget that he is a goal-scoring machine on the pitch. EA has given him an 89 overall player rating in FIFA 21, the same he had in last year’s title, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be slowing down anytime soon.

5. Alisson (90)

Alisson has only been Liverpool’s goalkeeper since 2018, but he’s already solidified his place as the number one goalkeeper in the Premier League and one of the best in the world. His performances have been nothing short of spectacular, and it’s the reason why his player rating has climbed from 89 to 90 in FIFA 21.

4. Sadio Mané (90)

Sadio Mané is one of Liverpool’s prolific wingers, and he played a massive part in helping them win the title. Described as playing with “high levels of intensity and concentration,” Mané's performances only improved last season, and it’s easy to see why his player rating has gone up from 88 to 90.

3. Mohamad Salah (90)

Mohamad Salah is Liverpool’s other prolific winger who has been a fan-favourite at Anfield for quite some time. His player rating hasn’t improved from the 90 overall he received in last year's title, but it’s still high enough to make him the third-highest rated player in the Premier League and the ninth-best player overall.

2. Virgil Van Dijk (90)

Virgil Van Dijk featured on the cover of last year’s FIFA title, and although he’s been replaced by Kylian Mbappé in FIFA 21, his player rating hasn’t changed from a rock-solid 90. The Dutch defender is one of the best in the world, if not the best, and it’s no surprise that he has the second-highest player rating in the Premier League.

1. Kevin De Bruyne (91)

Kevin De Bruyne is widely considered to be one of the best midfielders in the world, and for a good reason. The Belgian superstar is as complete, versatile, and creative as they come. EA has given him a whopping 91 overall player rating in FIFA 21, which makes him the best player in the Premier League and the fourth-best overall.
