Fall Guys Authentication Failure Error - How to Fix

Earlier in May 2022, the publishers of Mediatonic announced that Fall Guys would be available for free to play for all the major platforms from June 21 onwards. Since the game was made available for free in Epic Games Store, the servers of the game couldn't handle the huge amount of traffic, and it kept crashing. The developers recognized and addressed this issue and provided a quick fix for everyone.

Many users have been complaining that they are receiving an 'Authentication Failure Error.' this error is usually caused due to Epic Games can't authenticate your account. The Authentication Failure Error happens when many players try to log into the game and play, but the server cannot handle the traffic. Check Mediatonic's Server's Status

As mentioned earlier, this can be mainly caused by the game server's end; therefore, make sure to check if the servers are up and running. Check Your Internet Connectivity

If your issue is not resolved by the above-given fix, you can check your internet connectivity. Make sure you have a stable internet connection to run the game smoothly. There are different ways to check your internet connectivity, depending upon the platform you are playing the game on. Here are some steps to check your internet connectivity on:

Windows 10

1. Go to the Search bar, type 'CMD,' and open Command Prompt.
2. After opening Command Prompt, type 'ping google.com'
3. This will let you know how stable is your internet connection.

Xbox

1. Press the Xbox button and open the guide menu.
2. Go to Profile and System and select Settings, then General.
3. Open network settings and go to Test network connection.
4. Run the test.

PlayStation

1. Go to the Settings option from the Homescreen.
2. Go to Network and select Test Internet Connection.
3. Run the test.

If you receive an error while running these tasks, try restarting your router and the devices. After restarting, try again to launch the game; most likely, your issue must be fixed.

Uninstalling and Reinstalling Fall Guys

If non of the above-mentioned fixes have worked for you, try uninstalling and reinstalling Fall Guys.
